F.A.Q.
Can I import a car as a private importer?
Usually yes, however each country has it's own regulations and laws
governing importing used Japanese cars or trucks. We can offer a
complete bespoke advice on how to import into either the UK, most
East African nations or Russia. Depending on the country, you may
not be able to import some car models, so you will need to check
with your respective country's registration and importation laws
before you begin the purchasing process with us.
Can I buy a car/cars which is/are not listed on your stock list?
Yes, you can. Please just send us details and requirements and we
will offer you a ball-park FOB/CIF price.
Do you give any warranty for the vehicles?
I am afraid we don't, neither do any of the auctions in Japan or the
UK. All our vehicles are bought direct from auctions or through our
network of suppliers and are based on a wholesale purchase. We do
provide interior/exterior descriptions, photos, mileage, as per the
auctions sheet provided, etc. All vehicles are graded cosmetically
3.0 to 4.5.
How To Make Payment?
We only accept T/T at the moment. We do not accept any payment by
credit card or L/C. Please note that all bank transfer charges
should be paid by customer/consignee so that our quoted FOB amount
reaches the bank.
Where to send payment?
Generally payment (T/T) is made direct to Japan, but on occasions
payment or deposits can be made locally in the UK (if importing to
the UK), ask for details.
Do you accept Credit Cards?
Not at the moment.
Do you deal with foreign currencies?
Currently, T/T's to Japan only accepts transfers in Japanese Yen.
Occasionally we can accept payment/s into the UK account in
sterling.
Do you accept L/C?
No. Currently, only T/T.
How can I see the equivalent cost in my own currency?
You can convert currencies at the following site:
www.xe.com
What are your payment terms?
Payments must be made in Japanese YEN by T/T,
or sterling if specified.
Do you offer credit?
No.
How much are the shipping charges?
Importers to the UK are encouraged to advise their customs clearance
agents of the vehicle CM3 (cubic dimensions) and FOB and they will
advise accordingly. We offer a 'Landing Around' quote, but it is
purely for guidance and reference only as there is a diversity of
clearing methods. Importers to Africa, Russia and other countries
are quoted CIF prior to shipment.
Can you provide me with a shipping schedule?
Yes, or contact your shipping clearing agent

Can I insure my shipment?
All vehicles are insured prior to shipment against loss, however,
other forms of damage whilst in transit are not included in our
policy. To further insure your vehicle you may want to to open a
more comprehensive marine insurance.
How long is trans-shipment time?
It may take
between 4 to 5 weeks after departure to the UK. Upon departure we
will advise you of the respective arrival times. (ETA)
What documents will we receive?
We will send the following documents (for the UK):
1. Bill of Lading (Original and copy)
2. Invoice (Yen or sterling invoice)
3. De-registration certificate/s (Japanese & English translated
copy)
These documents are sent by Express Mail or Courier with a unique
tracking number.
