This is known as the
auction sheet, which is provided by all auction houses throughout Japan, and is made available upon request for your review. Once a vehicle or vehicles have been selected for import an invoice will be issued you for the FOB amount, this will be forwarded via email and later by post. Mileage verification can be confirmed as per the auction sheet by contacting BIMTA in the UK, who will issue a certificate, for a small charge, verifying the mileage. Review why customer choose us above others.

FOB QUOTATION
FOB or Freight On Board is quoted in Japanese Yen and reflects the cost of your purchase, and DOES NOT include shipping costs to the destination country, VAT at 20%, import Duty at 10% and or port clearance charges as levied by the shipping agent. For an estimated, cleared, landed price on your chosen vehicle/s, call our appointed shipping agent, Wainwright Shipping in Southampton on 02380 223671 and ask for Sabine. For real time rates please visit www.xe.com. Any other estimate provided otherwise prior to arrival is for guide purposes only.

PAYMENT
Once you are satisfied that your intended purchase/s meet/s your expectations and you have completed a full review of all the photos, appraised the on-line description and the ex-port cost falls within your intended budget the invoice value would then be forthcoming before we can release your vehicle for export from Japan. Please note we cannot release the vehicle until full payment has been received.

BILL OF LADING, & JAPANESE DEREGISTRATION
Upon confirmation of your payment with our bank, the following will be forwarded by email as scanned documents and also sent to you by registered EMS post:
●  The B/L (or Bill of Lading), original and two copies
●  Japanese deregistration document and English translation

●  Invoice

SHIPMENT
Your shipment will leave on the next consigned boat from Japan, normally Yokohama to either Southampton or Bristol. Transit time generally takes about 4-weeks. An update from the shippers and ourselves is always available as to the progress of your shipment. 10-days prior to arrival Wainwright will inform you by post of the estimated date of arrival, via a pre-arrival notice, which will detail costs (freight). Upon arrival in the UK all shipping charges (freight), UK VAT at 20% and duty at 10% will then payable via the appointed shipping agent who will be clearing the vehicle/s for you. They will request a copy of the invoice, issued by the exporter in Japan, the original B/L (Bill of Lading) and a copy of the Japanese and English deregistration document and proof of identity in the form of a household utility bill.

INLAND TRANSPORTATION
Once clearance has been issued by HMRC, you must collect your vehicle/s from port within 7-days or storage will incur on a daily basis, at a rate of about £ 7.00 per day. Proof of identity and a copy of the B/L is required by the stevedores at port to allow you to collect your vehicle, please remember to take them with you. For multiple units a transporter is recommended. For collection at port and delivery to home or business premises, this can be undertaken by ourselves on your behalf for a small fee. Feel free to ask for a quotation. As your valued agent we are only a phone call away to assist you throughout the process.

IVA, MOT, AND UK REGISTRATION
